International transfer and retention

On submission, your name, contact, practice area, optional entries and submission/consent records are sent over encrypted connections to the Supabase Pte. Ltd. database in Tokyo, Japan, for inquiry storage, review and response. The retention period is up to 365 days from receipt, with earlier deletion when the purpose is fulfilled or you request deletion.

We examine the available contracts, decisions and transaction records, distinguishing established facts from information still needed.

Strategy and scope

We explain available procedures, key issues and foreseeable difficulties. The engagement terms specify the initial fee, whether a success fee applies and on what basis, and separate expenses.

Preparing and filing documents

We organise the arguments and evidence for the agreed procedure, checking material facts and submissions with the client.

Hearings and responses

We review opposing submissions and procedural developments, explaining any additional evidence or preparation needed for an appearance.

Outcome and next steps

We explain what the decision resolved and what remains. Appeals, registration and enforcement are discussed according to the circumstances and the agreed scope.

The steps vary with the type and stage of the matter. Representation begins only after the engagement terms are agreed.
